Three things make a lead worth buying: it is exclusive to you, it is in your area, and it is fresh. Miss any one and your close rate suffers. A shared lead an hour away that came in yesterday is a coin toss at best. An exclusive lead in your suburb that landed five minutes ago is close to a booked job.

Know your numbers before you spend

Work out your average job value and roughly how many leads you turn into jobs.
