Privacy Policy

ClaimLeads (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the lead marketplace at https://claimleads.com.au. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using ClaimLeads you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We collect two broad types of information:

• Buyer information. When you register as a buyer we collect your name or business name, email, phone number, the industries you select and payment details processed by our payment provider.
• Lead information. When a customer submits an enquiry on a website in our network, we collect the details they provide, such as their name, contact details, location and a description of the work they want done.

How we use information

We use buyer information to operate your account, send you lead alerts for your chosen industries, process payments and provide support. We use lead information to list the enquiry on our marketplace and, once a lead is claimed, to pass the customer’s contact details to the single buyer who claimed it.

Disclosure of information

A customer’s contact details are disclosed only to the one buyer who claims their lead. We do not sell or share the same lead with multiple buyers. We may disclose information to service providers who help us operate (such as hosting, email, SMS and payment providers) and where required by law.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe’s handling of your payment data is governed by its own privacy policy.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Access and correction

You can access and update your buyer details at any time from your account settings. If you are a customer whose enquiry was submitted through our network and you wish to access, correct or remove your information, contact us at the address below.

Direct marketing and unsubscribing

We send lead alerts and account emails to buyers. You can change your alert preferences in your account, and any marketing email includes a way to opt out.
